Workshop on School guidance and Parenting held in Dwarka

A free workshop on ‘School Admission guidance’ and Parenting Tips was organized by Ascent Academy and Dwarka Parichay. Mrs Raji Vishwanathan, Mr Sanjay and Mr S S Dogra’s effort in creating awareness among parents regarding school admission guidance and suggestions on ‘Parenting’ was greatly appreciated . The parents found this workshop an excellent platform to put forth their suggestions and opinions about some expectations and initiatives they would love to see happen in the schools approach to learning and education.

The parents were asked about what they thought was a good school. They were also asked about what values they would desire in their ward when he/she leaves the portals of the school to face the challenges of the world outside.

Incidentally, there were two representatives from M.B.S International school who could also air out their expectations and the gaps that existed in the initiatives of the parents.
D.P and AA call this step, an ‘Education Action Zone’ where there is going to be a whole hearted effort to bring about a convergence of the school, parents and the community.
D.P and AA will be holding more such workshops which will benefit the society and the country at large. City Plus, Dainik Jagaran was the media partner for the event.
