Sergeant at arms, Harish Gupta, was all ready to bat a great inning! Dressed to the ‘T’, he congratulated India for its stupendous winning and also applauded the 2 Winners of the (Area-level) International Speech and Table Topic Contest, Arpita Verma and Rajan Bhatia, for winning accolades for TMWD!
President, Rajiv Barrot gave a lesson on winning, by acknowledging how gracefully; Sri Lanka accepted their loss, pointing out that that is an essential part of winning, learning how to fail. Rajiv warmly greeted all the guests.
Toastmaster of the Day (ToD), Harish ji set the tone of the meeting with his cricket attire: he was padded up and swung his cricket bat with élan. The Supplementary Evaluators were, Grammarian – Amrita Garg, Ah Counter – Leo Thomas, Timer – Mohit Beri, Parliamentarian – Saurabh Garg. 27 people were present at the meeting, out of which 5 were guests.
