SELF DEFENCE TRAINING PROGRAMME CONCLUDE

The 10-day Self-Defence Training programme started from 22nd June concluded yesterday, the 5th July, 2011. On the occasion, Shri Parmaditya, Addl. DCP, Shri Mahendra Singh, ACP, Dabri, Sushil Kumar, Sudha Aiyer, Anil Rajput and M K Gupta of Dwarka Forum were also present. In his concluding speech, Parmaditya while thanking the Dwarka Forum for its efforts in organizing the programme, informed that he will try to organize another camp shortly so that left-out interested women get this training and also distributed certificates to the trainees. 


There were about 35 in the age groups from 10 years to 50 years. The trainees were full with confidence after the successful training. Sushil Kumar, General Secy. DF said that the trainees should encourage other women to get this training in their own interest in view of the increased in crimes against them.

M K Gupta thanked the Delhli Police, trainers, trainees for making this camp successful. He also thanked Shri Rajiv Solanki, Vice President of DF for providing space and other facilities for this camp on voluntarily basis without any charge. Ms. Madhuri Varshney, speaking on behalf of trainees, said that they are now confident of facing any crisis by anti-social elements. The training was conducted on the suggestion given by Ms. Anju Nagpal, an on-line member of DF.
