Kalpataru Day on the 1st of January, 2013

In the Ramakrishna Vivekananda tradition Kalpataru Day is an extremely significant occasion. It was on this day in 1886 when Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna revealed himself as 'Kalpataru' and spiritually awakened a large number of devotees who were present at the Cossipore Garden House on that sacred day. This event is commemorated in almost all our centres to invoke the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna and to pray for the spiritual awakening of the devotees.

We, at the New Delhi Centre, will also be celebrating the event with special puja, homa and a brief talk starting from 7:30 a.m. on the 1st of January, 2013. At the end of puja and homa, there will also be prasad distribution. All the devotees are cordially invited to participate in the function, have Prasad and also receive the special blessings of Sri Sri Thakur.

Yours in service,
Swami Shantatmananda,
Secretary
