BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATED AT THE INDIAN HEIGHTS SCHOOL


The students of The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka welcomed Spring Season with great fervor and zeal by celebrating Basant Panchami. A Hawan Ceremony was organized in the school premises. Offerings were made to the Goddess Saraswati who is credited with bestowing the greatest wealth to humanity, the wealth of learning.


Keeping up with the tradition of offering prayers to the goddess of learning, students recited Saraswati Vandana, Gayatri Mantra and Ganesh Vandana along with their teachers.

Children kept books and writing instruments before the deity and sought the blessings of the goddess. The teachers were dressed in yellow attire to mark the occasion. The Chairperson, Ms. Madhu Gupta and The Principal, Ms. Archana Narain also marked their presence on this special occasion. This day was filled with the spirit of festivity.
