Dr. GD Gandhi Chaired All India Football Federation’s Medical Committee which discussed various matters relating to age verification and Players’ safety, health and nutrition. Besides, AIFF General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das, Dr. Sudhir Tyagi, DR. AK Joy Singh, Dr. Sonam Ethenpa, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. PSM Chandran, Mr. Anil Kamat and Mr. Shubhankar Mukherjee also attended the Meeting at Football House on Tuesday (October 22).

The Committee came up with a comprehensive procedure for age-verification which will be adopted in the forthcoming U-14 National Tournament to be held in Kalyani, West Bengal from November 10-22, 2013.
The procedure is being forwarded to all State Associations and will be implemented strictly and without any exceptions.
Dr. PSM Chandran who is a Member of the AFC Medical Conference 2015 Scientific Committee, also made a Presentation on the proposed 5th AFC Sports Medical Conference to be organsied by AIFF in New Delhi from April 2-4, 2015.
