The exhibition features a selection of 54 drawings & photographs by exceptional artist Aarti Makkar, revealing the journey of the soul as the artist perceives it and comprehends it. The artist did extensive research and contemplation on the topic, the exhibition is the result of her hard and sincere efforts. This will be the second solo exhibition of the artist. This is maybe the first time Paintings & Photographs are expressed togather. This is a great amalgamation of art, kind of experiment with new ideas and skills.
It is immensely important for Aarti Makkar, that Mr Shamshad Hussain an eminent Artist (son of late Shri M.F.Hussain) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Paramjeet Singh(Chairman AIFACS), Shri T R Gupta (Vise President D A V Managing committee),Shri K N Dikshit (General Secretary, Indian Archaeological society), Shri Ravindra C Bhandri (CA and social Activist) & Sh. Shanker Sahney- Famous singer, Senior Journalist Sh. V.K. Sharma, Ms. Nidhi Gupta-Bollywood Cast Director, Cartoonist Sh.Jagjit Rana blessed Ms. Makkar as Guest Of Honour. Sharing her views about art with Dwarka Parichay, Aarti Makkar informed that Art is a divine matter and is a gift of Holy Spirit. Art touches us every day everywhere at home, at school, in the office and on the street.
The exhibition is open from April 15 till April 28 from 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM at Gallery A, (AIFACS), ALL INDIA FINE ARTS AND CRAFT SOCIETY, Rafi Marg New Delhi)
