Manipuri lad Udanta Singh was the main attraction of the afternoon as the 18-year-old striker pumped in all the four goals and was the sole threat throughout the 90 minutes in the game. In the process, Udanta notched up nine goals from the five games in the Final Round of the Competition, and rightfully made his mark in it.

East Bengal striker Jiten Murmu is second in the list of the top scorers with seven goals from five games.

Shakti Chauhan, the Head Coach of the Tata Academy Colts, was ecstatic following the win, and he has saluted his team and the entire coaching staff for the victory in the tournament.

“It was a complete team effort. That is just it! Everybody worked together, the players, as well as the entire Coaching Staff – our Goalkeeper Coach Gumpe Rime, myself, the assistant Coaches, all the backroom staff, just everyone” Chauhan said. “As for now, we are heading for a party to celebrate the success of Team Effort!”

Tata Football Academy finished their campaign in the tournament with 13 points from five games – and also remained unbeaten. Kolkata outfit East Bengal finished runners-up here as well, as they notched up 10 points from the five games. Sesa Football came third with nine points.

The AIFF Academy, Navi Mumbai, had a bitter luck, as they lost thrice in the Final Round, to finish second last in the competition, ahead of Hindustan FC, and below Shillong Lajong FC.
