Venkateshwar International School, Sector-10, Dwarka celebrated its 14th Annual Day recently. The show began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Justice Dr. Sadhna Parashar respected guest of Honour Mr. Sunit Tandon & other esteemed guests followed by school song sung by children of class III who enthralled one and all by sweetly singing in unison. This was followed by a captivating Invocation Dance, the essence of which mesmerized the audience. The timeless Qawwali “Mil Gaye Jub Hamare Kadam Se Kadam” held the audience spellbound. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony wherein prizes were awarded to the meritorious students in various fields.
The Director (Academics) Mrs. Mrinalini Kaura presented the school’s Annual Report which was followed by a medley of International Dances like Lindy Hop, Jive, Salsa etc. to name a few. It was unbelievable to witness our young Class II students dancing with such professional finesse. After this, it was time for the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sadhana Parashar to address the gathering enlightening with her valuable pearls of wisdom. The highlight of the evening play ‘Aladdin &the Magic Lamp” was the show stealer in which around 750 Children displayed their talent. The evening culminated with the vote of thanks by Headmistress Primary wing, Mrs. Anuradha Kumar.
