Children’s Day celebrated at Paramount


The most awaited day of the year, was celebrated in a grand manner at Paramount International School, Sector-23, Dwarka. The students witnessed an unexpected bonanza of programs prepared by the entire teaching staff of the school.

An interesting skit by the kindergarten teachers won everybody’s heart. Next came a cute dance performance by the teachers of classes I and II on the popular song Lakdi Ki Kathi. Then it was time for a foot tapping dance performance by the teachers on the famous song Etti si Khushi and Hum India Waale which won a thunderous applause. This was followed by inspirational songs like Hanste Hanste and Aashayein by the teachers of classes VI-X. The show stealer performance of the day was Palak Jhapkaja a Talent Hunt hosted by the teachers of classes XI-XII. The hilarious dialogues, dance movements and witty remarks of the judges sent the students into fits of laughter.

Mrs. R.L. Saroha, M.D. of the school briefed the students about the relevance of Children’s Day. Her spontaneous song performance of Nanhe Nanhe Bache Teri Muthi Mein Kya Hai won a stupendous applause. The students enjoyed their class parties hosted by the teachers. The day was full of fun and frolic and helped the children unwind themselves. The students went back home with a small gift given by the school management.
