The much awaited Mulund Festival is here, organized by Ex-MLC Charan Singh Sapra Chairman SEWAK (NGO), rocked the Eastern Suburb yesterday as The Harley Davidson Bike Rally kicked off to an enthusiastic start in Mulund on the Eve of Christmas, with Mulund bikers putting up a remarkable show of skill. they breezed through Mulund roads, flaunting extraordinary biking talent, hot jackets and even their chic boots. The rally was courage personified, as it witnessed a social cause of "Save Girl Child" coming together to celebrate the spirit of womanhood. The Mulundites engulfed ‘Harley Davidson Bike Rally’, while the Owners brandished their Power Machines. The rally saw around 35 unique Harley Davidson bikes which were running over the Mulund streets for 2 hours.
The “MULUND FESTIVAL – Entertainment ka Mela” is started to Entertain the Residents - as it entered the 2nd day. Harley Davidson Bike Rally, Family Antakshari, Karaoke Singing, Badminton, Box Cricket … kept the people entertained throughout the Festive Christmas Day. The ‘Family Antakshari’ was a super hit among the families. The Star Attraction of this event was ‘Neha Mehta’ popularly known as ‘Anjali of Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma’. She praised Mr. Sapra for organising such a wonderful Festival & said “While entertaining the people and uniting them, thereby sending the message of Peace & Harmony."
On first day Mulund witnessed Body Builders from around the World flexed their muscles thereby amazing the Mulundites with their hulky structures & Group Garba Competition made them shake their feet. Indian Body Builders of World Championship Level participated in this mega event. Chief Guest Bollywood Actor Mukesh Rishi who himself is a Body Builder, considering the participations from all over the world, said “Mr. Sapra has organised this event on a very Grand Scale & it can be rather called “World Festival” instead of “Mulund Festival”. Sugandha Mishra (Standup Comedian & Singer) graced the Group Garba Competition. She amused the crowd of thousands to such an extent that tears started running their cheeks. She also made the public dance with her.
The Grand Finale of festival will be held on Sunday 28th Dec 6.30pm onwards, which will witness a galaxy of stars from the entertainment world at the Nirmal Lifestyle Mall amidst famous personalities like Ayushman Khurana, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Dhupia & SAB TV starcast. The event will be graced by rocking performance of Shaan & troupe. There will be an added attraction of Standup Comedy by Sudesh Lehri.
