THE INDIAN HEIGHTS SCHOOL CELEBRATED-GRANDPARENTS DAY


A twinkle of exhilaration, excitement and enthusiasm was clearly witnessed in the eyes of the Grandparents when The Indian Heights School, Dwarka celebrated Grandparents Day to pay their gratitude to their beloved Grandparents. Grandparents play a vital role in the progressive years of the children. Their bed time stories and relentless love for their grand children is invaluable. To express their love, care & affection the tiny tots of TIHS presented a scintillating program exclusively for their loving Grandparents. The tiny tots dressed in a colourful attire sang songs, danced on western & Indian beats, recited Shaloks and the highlight of the Program was the Fashion Show showcasing different relations in a family.


Mr. Ravi Kalra, Founder & President of EarthSaviour Foundation was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Ms. Archana Narain, Principal of the school welcomed the Chief Guest and all the Grandparents. In her welcome address, she said that the knowledge of the Grandparents is invaluable and their love for their grandchildren is unconditional and by celebrating such occasions, we try & inculcate moral values in our students. The enthusiastic Grandparents felt honoured & elated and had a gala time sharing their wonderful experiences.

Celebration was an effort on the part of the school to inculcate moral values to young learners. The celebration started with the lighting of the Lamp & the tiny tots dressed in a colourful attire put up a show comprising of songs, dances, recitation of Shalokas and a Fashion Show showcasing different relations in a family. The Grandparents who were as enthusiastic as their grandchildren felt honoured and had a gala time.
