Acrylic canvas sheet paintings have come a long way since the 1940s, and the versatility of acrylics has won over many artists and collectors, increasing the number of masterfully-rendered acrylic paintings available in both abstract and representational styles.

Young Artist Balu Chaudhari , born in Maharashtra and currently residing in Bhopal is exhibiting his this innovative Acrylic as medium paintings at Triveni Art Gallery at Mandi House.

The exhibition titled "MEANDERING METAMORPHOSIS" shows the artist’s strong power of imagination and confidences. He is great artist obsessed with details and expressing emotions in his every fragment of color, portraying the light of life in his paintings. He is an artist with a clear vision. With his every painting he tries to show various forms of human connection to the conscious of other planet in the universe.

Balu Chaudhari says that when an art lover comes to view his paintings he hopes they take something away a spark of memory an emotion a thought. Because he believes that’s what an artwork should do, connect with you emotional.

The present work of Balu Chaudhari can be defined as a spirit of daring innovation. Driven by his yearning to express unknown invisible forms of nature, Balu in the last three years, has totally transformed his medium as well as his forms.

Balu has used dry thick base of color as a natural metaphor of frozen time and provided fluidity through the use of glass pieces in standing rows. Previous brightness in color has been subdued greatly and this has helped his forms to flow. Most recently, Balu has used more unconventional materials such as reverse painted acrylic sheets which are heated to create a frozen flow of physical reverberation.

Balu Chaudhari’s work is characterized by technical facility, richness of color, and breadth of vision, he addresses subjects of profound universal significance, yet does so through personal metaphor and imagery. Engagements with his paintings is always a satisfying and enriching encounter.
