Dwarka Parichay News - Info Services: IGNITE 2015 - MUSICAL EVENING HELD AT GREEN VALLEY CGHS

The Green Valley Cultural Club of Green Valley CGHS Ltd., Sector -22, organized a Musical Evening, titled “IGNITE-2015”. It was attended by luminaries like R.A.Sanjeev, DCP-SW alongwith ACP and SHO as also by Shri Gulab Singh, MLA- Matiyala, Mrs. Sudha Sinha, General Secretary – Dwarka Federation and a number of dignitaries from various societies of Dwarka. The maiden mega event was anchored by gracious Ms. Aanchal Rana and Mr. John Julian to everyone’s delight with their scintillating presentations.

The programme took off with lighting of the lamp and Shri Ganesh Saraswati Vandana and electrifying dance performance by Ms.Shubhra and Ms.Purnima. There was a wide range of singers from young 19 year old James and Tanya to 89 year young Col. R.R.Aneja with over 20 melodious performers in between.

The high points of the evening were the performances of Julian John who multitasked as the MC, delivered solo and duet performances and Anita John who besides directing the entire show also enthralled the audience with her old and new numbers. The classical and semi classical performances of Smt (Dr) Sarita Yajurvedi mesmerized the audience.

Mrs. Sudha Sinha was all praise for the excellent performances and wished to hold such events, which nurtures creativity and unity among Dwarkaites. The DCP and MLA appreciated the initiative of Green Valley Society under the leadership of President Col.(Dr.) D.P.Dimri and inspiring performance of Dr. Sarita Yajurvedi. The mega musical event culminated with the evergreen melody “Uthe sabke kadam……”, with all performers and Management Members on the stage, singing and dancing.
