Perfect 10/10 Workshop on Health and Hygiene at Bal Bhavan

"In our heart we believe healthy body contains healthy mind and healthy mind develops healthy society!!!"

With increasing awareness wrt Hygiene (Pradhan Mantri’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan), Bal Bhavan International School, Dwarka has taken this initiative to create awareness on Health, Hygiene and Safety among it’s students. 

The school recently conducted “Perfect 10 / 10 Workshop" for the students of Class-KG, in the school premises in association with Life’s Health & Hygiene Solutions Pvt Ltd.

The workshop was a special initiative undertaken by the School Principal Mr Kunal Gupta and Vice Principal Ms.Jaspreet Kaur who strongly believe in virtues of inculcating healthy and hygienic practices so that they become a habit as child grows.

These workshops consisted of set of 10 modules namely: “Personal Hygiene, Importance of Hand Wash, Eye Care, Dental Care, Good Manners, Home Care, Table Manners, Healthy Eating, Sharing is Caring & Stay Safe.”

The objective of the workshop is to develop healthy and hygienic habits among children right from an early age. This assists in less number of children falling sick and hence reducing absenteeism at school. “Health during childhood sets the stage for adult health.”

Life’s Health & Hygiene Solutions Pvt Ltd (LHH) (the Indian Unit of Life Corporation Limited, New Zealand) has taken up the task of teaching the value of HEALTH, HYGIENE & SAFETY to the children from a very young age through specially designed curriculum.

Kudos to all the little angels who participated so actively that their enthusiasm made the workshop, a success!!!

एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम AR फॉउंडेशन ने इंडिया कॉन्फ्रेंस सेंटर में 25 फरवरी को आयोजित किया।
AR फाउंडेशन इस कार्यक्रम के जरिये बहुत अच्छा एक संदेश समाज को दिया। ये संस्था सैदव समाज मे एक अच्छी और संस्कारवान संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने वाले ,प्रोत्साहित करने वाले कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर ,समाज को जोड़ने और दिशा देने का प्रयास करती है। क्योंकि किसी भी देश का विकास तभी सम्भव है,जब उसके नागरिक एक बेहतर इंसान हो।

माँ के अस्तित्व को नकारने वाले लोगो के लिए ये कार्यक्रम एक आईना था कि जो औरत आपको ये दुनिया दिखाती है,आप उसी औरत को बुढ़ापे में सड़क पर ,वृद्धा आश्रमों में तिल-तिल मरने को , तड़पने को कैसे छोड़ सकते हो ? 

एक ज्वलंत विषय औऱ उसके समाधान के विषय में कुछ बुद्धिजीवीयों , ने अपने विचार रखे,कलम से और विचारों से।
इसी के साथ समाज सेवा, देश जो मानवता को ही अपना धर्म समझते है। कार्यक्रम में ऐसे 31 लोगों को सम्मान दिया गया । इनमें ह्यूमैनिटेरियन ऑफ द ईयर का अवार्ड समाजसेवी निधि कटारिया, योग गुरु मंगेश त्रिवेदी, समाजसेवी सविता राणा "भारती" को दिया गया।

सभी अपने अपने फील्ड(क्षेत्र) में,समाज के लिए बेहतरीन कार्य कर रहे हैं। मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर समाजसेवी निधि कटारिया जी शामिल हुई। सेलिब्रिटी गेस्ट - नावनिधि.के. वाधवा रही ,गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर गुणप्रीत खलोंन, विपिन गौर , मनमोहन ठाकुर आदि रहे। कार्यक्रम में माँ के नाम कई बेटियों ने ,माओं ने अपने भाव पुष्प समर्पित किये।

ऐसे आयोजन समाज की रीढ़ है, क्योंकि मानवीय मूल्य और प्रेम ही इस विश्व का एकमात्र परिचायक है ।मीडिया की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका ने कार्यक्रम को चार चॉद लगा दिए। मीडिया पार्टनर के तौर पर कंट्री एन्ड पॉलिटिक्स , ऑफ ट्रैक न्यूज, हुंकार 24/7, PRI, INA, स्वत्रंत उजाला,रील लाइफ,सत्यबन्धु भारत, ने मुख्य भूमिका निभाई।

संस्था के आयोजक औऱ AR foundation का ये एक सार्थक प्रयास रहा । नीलिमा ठाकुर एवं रोहित प्रताप सिंह जी का एक अच्छा प्रयास ये कार्यक्रम रहा,कार्यक्रम में एसिड अटैक उत्तरजीवी(Survivor) मोहिनी गौरव कुमार ने अपनी बात रखी,उन्होंने कहा कि हम लोग क्यों अपना चेहरा छिपाए। जिन्होंने ये किया या जिनकी सोच ऐसी है,वो अपना चेहरा छिपाए। कार्यकम का विषय और रूपरेखा बहुत ही सुंदर और अद्भुत रही। समाज को ऐसे स्वस्थ और प्रेरणा दायक कार्यक्रमो की नितांत आवश्यकता है।

Puducherry and China's Dali prefecture in Yunnan province are mulling to be friend-cities to promote tourism, education, and cultural exchanges - V. Narayanasamy

India's southern city of Puducherry and China's Dali prefecture in Yunnan province are mulling to be friend-cities to promote tourism, education, and cultural exchanges, and would sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard soon, said Puducherry Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy in New Delhi on Monday.

He said his party colleague and parliamentary secretary Kannan Laxminarayan had already toured the Dali prefecture extensively, and now his state government would ask the country's external affairs ministry for the required permissions.

"I don't know how much time this procedure would take but we are really interested in forging friendly ties with Dali as both the cities have a tremendous tourism potential," he told Xinhua.

Narayanasamy was in the Indian capital to attend a 'Business-2-Business' meeting of Indian and Chinese businessmen, particularly from the Dali city. The 'Business-2-Business' meet was organised by "World Vision Travels Private Limited", the Indian associate company of Chinese inbound tourists firm "World Vision Travels".

The Chinese delegation consisted of four government departments, viz. education, culture, trade and tourism.

Speaking on the occasion, Chen Jian, the Secretary of Committee of the CPC of Dali prefecture and chairman of the 'Dali People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said Dali is rich in agricultural resources such as walnuts, tobacco, beef, mutton wind energy, minerals, livestock and agriculture.

"Dali's location is strategic and is known for being the hub of ancient "Shu Hindu Road" and "Tea Horse Road". Shuyundudao is important path starting from Dali, Baoshan and Dehong then directing to India and called silk road in southwest mainland," he added.

He further stated that in education sector, as many as 828 Indian students have been enrolled in the Dali university since 2005. "Dali is now looking forward to building a Friend-City relationship with India's Puducherry to promote and deepen exchange and cooperation between the two sides," he added.

VASANT UTSAV PRESENTED BY DWARKA BEATS

Dwarka Beats in collaboration with the Management of Harsukh Apartment, Dwarka and his team presented a musical evening ‘‘Vasant Utsav ” on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in their lawns. The occasion was celebration of Holi and Vasant. Ms. Bhavna Gaur, MLA, Palam was the Chief Guest. 

The most popular and melodious Ghoomar song from movie Padmavat forced audience to stand up and dance to the tune. Melodies from Hindi Cinema took the center stage when singers traced the journey of songs by crooning hit numbers – like “Rang barse bheege chunar wali…, Dil jo na kah saka…, Deewana mastana hua dil…, Zindagi bhar nahi bhulegi…, Bahaaara bahaara…, Dil ka bhanwar kare pukar…, Gaa rahi hai zindagi har taraf bahaar mein.., Jawaan hai mohabbat…, Aa neele gagan tale....,Babuji dheere chalna…, Aap ki aankhon me kuchh mahke huye se khwab hain…, and many more. The singers who captivated the audience with their rendering of musical pieces were - Promila Malik, MVS Rao, Tanveer Ali, Ritu Dogra, R K Jain, Poonam Sharma and Sujaya Biswas. The hosts of the event was Mrs. Shashi Jain. The evening of entertainment sprinkled with the dance on Ghoomar song and phoolon ki holi in the end of the program on the famous Holi Lok Geet “Holi aayee re kanhayee ” won great acclaim and applause of the large gathering of music lovers of the city.

Gift of Reading to Students from Daman Administration and National Book Trust, India


The UT Administration of Daman & Diu (Directorate of Education and District Panchayat); and National Book Trust, India are organizing three-day Daman Book Fair (26–28 February 2018) which was inaugurated today at Macchi Mahajan Hall, Nani Daman by Shri Suresh Bhai J. Patel, Chairman of the Daman Zilla Panchayat. Shri Patel spent considerable time while going through the books and interacting with students. Shri P.S. Jani, CEO District Panchayat, appreciated the variety, quality and content of the books exhibited. On this occasion, Shri Harshit Jain, Director Education, said that it is important to encourage the reading habit among students as it supplements their classroom studies.


Shri M.D. Patel, Assistant Director (Education); Shri C.B. Patel, Assistant Director (Education, District Panchayat), Ms. Smita Thomas, Assistant Education (Inspector) and Shri M.G. Smart, Nodal Officer (Education Schemes) were also present on the occasion. On the first day itself, about 3500 students visited the fair. There was huge enthusiasm among students and teachers to buy books of their choice. There is a wide range of books to select from, covering various topics and genre, and available in all major Indian languages. An interesting highlight of the book fair is the initiative taken by the UT Administration, where the students visiting the fair with school teachers can select a book of their choice which will be sponsored by the UT Govt. The UT Administration has invited all schools of the district including Govt. Schools, Govt.-aided Schools as well as Private Schools. After school hours, the book fair is open to public till 7 pm.


The National Book Trust, India, an apex body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India with a mandate of inculcating reading habit among people has displayed an array of books at the Daman Book Fair, which will interest young and old alike. In tune with its ongoing initiatives to take the mission of reading habit to the grassroots level, the National Book Trust, India is working with various State Govts. and UT Govts. at various levels in setting up libraries at Panchayat level, and also organising Panchayat Book Fairs across the country. Currently, the National Panchayat Book Fair is underway in Srinagar, Uttarakhand till 28th Feb 2018.

Holi Milan and Monthly Havan organized at Kamdhenu Arogya Sansthan


Holi Milan programme, Monthly Havan and talk on existence of 33 Koti Devi Devvta in Cow were organized at Kamdhenu Arogya Sansthan, Bissar Akbarpur, Tauru (Nuh) on 25th February, 2018. Pundit Bansilal Niranjan ji, Pramukh Pujari, Kamakshi Mandir, Karsog, Himachal Pradesh blessed all present in the programme. Referring to the cow's usefulness, he said the need to remove all cows from the road and bring them to the homes for their protection. He emphasized the need to inform the farmers and ordinary citizens for the use of cows and their products in details so that all start rearing and husbandry of cows at their home and there should not be any stray and ownerless cows roaming on the roads. Describing the qualities of our indigenous cows Shri Naranjan ji said that this quality should be told to all so that the importance of Gaumata can be known to all people and they all follow their own after seeing it and they bring home all the stray cows and starting their earning from the products of cows. Shri Niranjan ji had worked hard for banning the practice of Bali, giving priority to the protection cows and to make them useful.

Shri S.P. Gupta, IAS (Retd.) introduced all the guests and welcomed them in his Gaushala premises. Then Mr. R.K. Agrawal welcomed Mr. Harnam Singh Thakur, Session Judge Gurugram, Pandit Vanshilal Narayanjan was welcomed by Dr. Abhay Shrivastav, Shri Kamal Tawadi, IAS (Retd) was welcomed by Mr. Vishal Garg, Smt. Smt. Shashi Gupta, while describing the 33 Goddess and God present in Gau Mata, showed the merit of the milk of Gaumata told that it is the complete diet of human beings. Serving Gaumata makes our intellect intense.She also told about the presence of gold in Gaumata's milk. She also talked about organic farming and said that while describing the importance of organic fertilizers made from cow urine gaumutra, these are most beneficial for growing the food for human consumption.

Describing the importance of Gaumata, Shri Kamal Tawadi, IAS (Retd) said that we talked about improving the mistake of denying cow and its products and said that if we want to maintain balance in nature then it is necessary to preserve cow and nature and also to promote organic farming with use of gobar (cowdung) and gaumutra. He also said that we must stop the exploitation of the nature and environment.

Chief guest, Mr. Harnam Singh Thakur appreciated Kamdhunu Gaudham and named it as an Aadarsh Gaushala and praised the work of the founder president of Kamdhenu
Godham, Shri SP Gupta, IAS (Retired) and his wife Smt. Shashi Gupta. While thanking for the invitation in the program, he expressed his views, he said that he himself is a sevak of Gaumata and told that the human beings can overcome all diseases by using Gaumutra.

Dr. Rajkumar Sharma, Janakpuri New Delhi shared his few experiences of Gauseva and treatment of cows and told that if we treat or do seva of Gaumata it returns to us in many folds and also we get the punya in addition.

Smt. Shashi Gupta invited all the guests and devotees to offer Sawamani to Gaumatas and for celebration of Holi Milan Samaroh and then to have prasada and lunch at Gaushala. Vote of thanks were also conveyed by Smt. Shashi Gupta.

Panchayat Library Should Position Itself as Modern Chaupal-Dr Baldeo Bhai Sharma


‘The Panchayats should establish library as book promotion centre which can position itself as modern chaupal as traditionally the chaupals acted as platforms of information and knowledge dissemination’, said Dr Baldeo Bhai Sharma, Chairman, National Book Trust, India at the inauguration of the National Panchayat Book Fair at Srinagar, Uttarakhand today. Dr Sharma exhorted the Gram Pradhans to act as change agents by introducing the ideas of books and book reading in their villages. He underlined the endeavours of NBT to provide books to readers in their local languages and referred to three children books each of the Trust which have been translated into Garhwali and Kumauni languages and were released on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dhan Singh Rawat, Higher Education Minister of Uttarakhand Govt. announced that following the book fair more than 200 libraries will be set up in as many Panchayats and the Government will be make adequate budget available for the same. During the program 14 Gram Pradhans from different parts of the state were awarded for doing excellent work in the fields of sanitation, education, waste management, health etc.

Shri Leeladhar Jagoodi, eminent litterateur, Special Guest at the event, underlined the importance of the role played by the National Book Trust, India and appreciated the fact that for the first time an innovative Panchayat Book Fair is being organised by the Trust at Srinagar.

In the afternoon, Dr Rashmi Bajaj, Uttarakhand State Project coordinator of UNDP gave a presentation before the participating Gram Pradhans on the Sustainable Development Goals and the role that culture of Reading plays in it. She underlined the need to be fully equipped with information and knowledge about various schemes in order to be able to deliver on their goals and targets in more effective way. In that sense, she said, the establishment ad Libraries to act as the nucleus of knowledge and information among the community becomes quite crucial.

In the interaction that followed the Gram Pradhans shared their own experiences from setting up libraries and the poor access to quality books. They underlined that such book fairs surely provided them opportunity to choose from a wide spectrum. Dr R K Sharma, Librarian, United Nations Information Centre, New Delhi, who also participated in the discussions, informed them that Uttarakhand govt has a Library Act and they should take advantage of it.

UMANG-The Annual Inter School Sports Meet held at Delhi International School Edge, Dwarka

“The moment of victory is much too short to live for that and nothing else.”

Apart from commemorating victories, sports meets also aim at imparting lessons on sportsman spirit and camaraderie to children.

Delhi International School edge organized the Annual Sports Meet on 9th February 2018 at the school grounds upholding this aspect of sporting events.

The day was witnessed by dignitaries Shri J.N.Nehra, working with Sports Authority of India as a Senior Basket Ball Coach. and  Ms Nirmal Sharma Ma’am – Inspector in Delhi Police.

The Chief Guest hoisted the flag signalling the start of the Sports Meet. The March past and Oath Taking Ceremony followed. The oath was taken by Head Girl of our school and the students solemnly pledged to uphold the spirit of true sportsmanship. The Chief Guest declared the meet open and then followed the arrival of the torch. A colourful Flag Drill by our Dishons preceded the track and field events. The day was filled with exciting victories.

After the students’ events the parents also participated enthusiastically in the events scheduled for them. They rewind their school memories and were awarded with trophies. The day ended with a cheerful note, heralding the year 2018, also filled with promises for all the young sports enthusiasts.

The captain and house captain did the closing ceremony of flag in which the flag was finally handed over to our Head of the School Roopal Pandya Ma’am by Executive Director Bhagat Singh Sir.

National Panchayat Book Fair at Srinagar, Uttarakhand

As part of its 60 Years programmes (1957–2017), the National Book Trust, India, the national body of Government of India for book publishing and book promotion under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, has conceptualized a National Panchayat Book Fair with the view to involve the Panchayati Raj Institutions for promoting the culture of reading in the rural sector.

The first National Panchayat Book Fair is being held at Srinagar, Uttarakhand from 24–28 February 2018. Being organized with the active support and collaboration of the Education Department and the Department of Panchayati Raj of the Uttarakhand Government, the Book Fair, beside the general visitors, will see participation of a spectrum of Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samities and Zila Parishads, to enable them to buy books and build Panchayat Level Libraries and be part of the promotion of the culture of reading; to interact with professionals of the publishing and educational sector, and those working in the area of capacity building of the Panchayats; and also to introduce them to the whole culture of book fairs and book publishing etc.

One of the major highlights of the Panchayat of the Panchayat Book Fair is a two-day conference of select 200 Gram Pradhans of Uttarakhand. Titled Sarpanch Samagam, the conference will have talk interactive sessions to discuss the challenges and prospects of promoting reading habit, in particular, in the rural sector through the Panchayati Raj Institutions.

The Book Fair and the Sarpanch Samagam is being inaugurated on the 24th February 2018 at the G.I. & T.I. Grounds, Srinagar (Uttarakhand) by Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, with Shri Dhan Singh Rawat, Hon’ble Minister of State, Higher Education (I/C), and Shri Leeladhar Jagoodi, eminent litterateur.

The India Office of the United Nations and the Indian Public Library Movement (hosted by NASSCOM Foundation) are graciously partnering with the National Book Trust, India for the event.

DIS edge organized the Science Exhibition

With the 100% participation DIS edge school organized the Science Exhibition on 17th February 2018 in the presence of renowned personality Mr.Gauhar Raza (Scientist), where Dishons showcased their scientific skills with confidence in presenting their own projects which were really appreciated by our invited guest.

He was really amused that how our Pre-primary kids showcased their talent and confidence with a zeal for science exhibition. It was really a learning experience for students where they got their curiosities fed by practical experience they had.

Seminar on IMPACT of Social Media in Students Life & Education Hub book launch


Health Check-up Camp on Founder’s Birth Anniversary organized at N. K. BAGRODIA PUBLIC SCHOOL


A free health check up camp was organised on 21/2/18 in the school premises on the occasion of the birth anniversary of our founder chairman sir Lt. Shri N.K Bagrodiaji. The camp was organized in collaboration with Aakash Healthcarefor the entire school staff with an objective to provide free medical check-up and consultation. A teamof 15 doctors and technicianswhich included Dr. InderKr. Kasturia (Physician), Dr. Bharat (Optometrist), Dr. Kavita (Dietician)conducted the tests, provided consultation for general ailments and prescribed medicines for the same.

The camp included ECG, Bone Density test, Eye Screening, Blood Pressure Check, Random Blood Sugar test, Neuropathy, PFT and Blood investigation like CBC, Thyroid Test, Lipid Profile, Uric Acid and Blood Sugar Fasting.Nearly 115 school staff members availed theservices provided by the qualified experts who recommended appropriate precautions and interventions.

The camp was successfullyorganised under the guidance and support of our respected Principal madam Dr. Rajee N. Kumar. The school authorities and teachers were impressed by the professionalism of the doctors. They appreciated and thanked them for their valuable services.



Remarkable Achievement at the National Level by students of Venkateshwar International School


With pride we share that our class XI students of  Venkateshwar International School, Sector-10, Dwarka, New Delhi, Aarzoo Haideri and Radhika have done us proud and won the second prize at the CBSE National Level Science Exhibition 2018. They were given a cash prize of 3000 Rupees. The exhibition saw 885 participants, out of whom our students made their mark with their project ‘Rajo Shakti’-Management of Menstrual Waste. Their muti-dimensional project deals with creating bio-degradable sanitary napkins and their disposal alongwith spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene. The underlying belief is that green choices will eventually lead us to sustainable development.

The school Director and Founder Principal, Mrs. Mrinalini Kaura and the Officiating Principal, Dr. Manisha Sharma applauded the efforts of students and the mentor teacher Mrs. Nivedita Naithani.

बड़ा सवाल : ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर के खिलाफ कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं ?

ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर शब्द के बारे में अपने बहुत सुना होगा और कभी कभी इनसे जुड़े विवाद भी चलते रहते है जैसे मैगी, रियल स्टेट आदि में कुछ समस्याएं पाए जाने पर या सवाल भी उठाया गया कि ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर को क्या इस से पहले सोचना नहीं चाहिए जब वो किसी मुख्यत उस ब्रांड के बारे में विज्ञापन करते है। नूडल्स के एक विज्ञापन को लेकर अमिताभ बच्चन और रियल एस्टेट के विज्ञापन को लेकर क्रिकेटर महेंद्र सिंह धोनी पर भ्रामक प्रचार के आरोप लगे थे। इसके बाद विभिन्न उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता पर उठे सवाल के बाद ही सरकार सक्रिय हुई। स्थायी समिति ने माना है कि इन जानी-मानी हस्तियों के प्रचार करने का असर बहुत अधिक होता है। गलती करने वाली कंपनियों के साथ ब्रांड एंबेसडर भी दोषी माने जाने चाहिए। इसी के तहत उपभोक्ता संरक्षण कानून को ताकतवर बनाए जाने पर जोर दिया गया। उसके बाद यह भी कि क्या अगर किसी ब्रांड जिसका विज्ञापन कोई कर रहा है तो उसमे कोई खामी पाए जाने पर ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर के खिलाफ भी केस चलाया जाना चाहिए ? ये सब तो विवाद और बहस का मुद्दा है लेकिन हम आज जानते है कि आखिर ये ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर होता है जो कंपनी को खड़ा करता है और उसी गुडविल पर बैंक से लोन ले पाता है। 

 वैसे ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर – “ किसी भी ब्रांड का ब्रांड एम्बेसडर वो होता है जो किसी भी ब्रांड के प्रोडक्ट पब्लिक के सामने सकारात्मक रूप से पेश करें बशर्ते उस प्रोडक्ट के बारे में उसे सही से जानकारी हो | “ और इसके बदले में सम्बन्धित ब्रांड जो है वो उसे तयशुदा रकम देता है । ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर पहले शुरू में भारत में प्रचालन में नहीं था लेकिन जैसे जैसे कम्पनीज के बीच प्रतिस्पर्धा बढती गयी वैसे वैसे कैसे इंडियन लोगो के बीच अपनी जगह बनाई जाये इस बारे में ब्रांड्स सोचने लग। ऐसे में कम्पनीज चाहती थी कि कैसे भी अपने प्रोडक्ट्स को दूसरों से बेहतर जता पायें और ऐसे में ये देखने में आया कि लोग कुछ अभिनेता या खास लोग ऐसे है जिन्हें अपना आदर्श मानते है और ऐसे में उनके जरिये अगर चाहे तो ब्रांड को प्रस्तुत कर लाभ कमाया जा सकता है तो ऐसे इसकी शुरुआत हुई। 2016 में एक प्रस्ताव के अनुसार उपभोक्ता संरक्षण कानून में संसद की स्थायी समिति की सिफारिशों को शामिल किया जाना था जो अब भी विचाराधीन है। इसके अनुसार उत्पादों का प्रचार करने वाले ब्रांड एंबेसडर भी उत्पाद में गड़बड़ी पाए जाने पर जिम्मेदार होंगे। उनके खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई तक की जा सकती है। अगर यह कानून बना है और या फिर अध्यादेश के माध्यम से लागू है तो गीतांजलि ब्रांड की मुख्य ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर अभिनेत्री प्रियंका चोपड़ा के खिलाफ भी केस दायर होना चाहिए ? क्योंकि उन्होंने भी इस कंपनी के फ्राड से बनाये पैसे से अपना भुगतान लिया है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार स्थायी समिति की सिफारिशों को कानून का हिस्सा बनाने पर सरकार सैद्धांतिक रूप से सहमत है। वह संसद के शीतकालीन सत्र में 30 साल पुराने इस कानून में संशोधन को पारित कराने की तैयारी है। 

कानून के दायरे को जहां व्यापक बनाया जाएगा, वहीं प्रावधानों को सख्त भी किया जाएगा। इस कानून के अनुसार ब्रांड अंम्बेसडर को पांच साल तक की सजा संभव हो सकती है। जानकारी के मुताबिक स्थायी समिति की सिफारिशों के मुताबिक पहली बार दोषी पाये जाने पर किसी भी उत्पाद के ब्रांड एंबेसडर पर दो साल की सजा और 10 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना होगा। जबकि यही गलती दोहराये जाने पर अधिकतम 50 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना और पांच साल की सजा अथवा दोनों हो सकता है। समिति की सिफारिशों को मान लिये जाने के संकेत उपभोक्ता मंत्री राम विलास पासवान ने पहले ही दे दिये थे। इस कानून के बनने के बाद ही विज्ञापन परिषद को मिलेंगे अधिकार गए हैं ऐसा देखने को तो नहीं मिला लेकिन प्रावधान जरूर किया गया था। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार उपभोक्ता संरक्षण कानून के दंत विहीन प्रावधानों को सख्त बनाया जाएगा ऐसा प्रतीत होता है। यह संशोधित विधेयक पिछले साल लोकसभा में पेश किया गया था, जिसे सदन की मांग पर स्थायी समिति को सौंप दिया गया। समिति ने भारतीय विज्ञापन मानक परिषद (एएससीआई) को पर्याप्त अधिकार सौंपने के प्रस्ताव को भी हरी झंडी दे दी है। इससे भ्रामक प्रचार के भरोसे उत्पाद बेचने वालों पर चाबुक लगाया जा सकता है। जानकारी के अनुसार तेजी से बढ़ते ऑनलाइन कारोबार और उसके बारे में मिल रही शिकायतों को भी उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम में शामिल किया जा रहा है। मौजूदा में सबसे अधिक शिकायतें रियल एस्टेट को लेकर है, संशोधित कानून में इसे भी रखा गया है। इसके अलावा उपभोक्ता संरक्षण प्राधिकरण का गठन किया जाएगा, जो किसी एक उत्पाद की शिकायत के आधार पर पूरी लॉट पर लागू होगा। बहराल पी एन बी एवं गीतांजलि और नक्षत्र,रोटोमैक आदि ब्रांडों घोटाले के बाद इस कानून की मांग बढ़ती दिखाई दे रही है लेकिन यह सब तो सरकार को तय करना है आम आदमी तो अपने को ठगा सा महसूस कर ही रहा है।

Unani Health Camp for first time held in Dwarka


People in India are now seen more and more inclined towards the treatment methods of Ayurvedic, Unani, Homeopathy and Naturopathy which are not only safe from the point of view of side effects but also treat root cause of the deseases resulting in permanent relief. Even the Government of India formed Ministry of AYUSH in the year 2014 with focused attention for development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.

Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha organized an Unani Health Camp on 18th February for the first time of its type in Dwarka in collaboration with Hamdard Wellness (Hamdard Dawakhana), in Community Hall of Chitrakoot Apartments, Sector-22. Dr. N.A. Rana, BUMS, MD, a hakeem in Unani system of treatment, delivered a lecture bringing forward history of the Unani system of treatment and its concepts, hundred and twelve years journey of Hamdard Wellness in this field and various aspect of human body starting from its initial creation till its natural end. During his lecture, Dr. Rana touched a wide spectrum of the cause, prevention and cure of various physical and mental ailments with focus on natural solution to lifestyle related disorders and problems of growing age, followed by a fruitful question-answer session. This session of the Health Camp was extended from initially planned one hour to more than two hours because of the interest and curiosity of the audience. P.B. Mishra, General Secretary of the SDKS Sanstha welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests from Hamdard Welness to the audience, giving brief account of the benefits of Unani Method of treatment.

Free health check-up and consultation was also conducted by doctor N.A. Rana and lady doctor Ms. Shazia, during this Health Camp. Assistant General Manager Mr. Faizaan Siddiqui and Deputy Manager Mr. Khursheed Alam of Hamdard Wellness also remained present during entire health camp who informed the audience that free consultation is available in their wellness centres at Lal Kuan and Hamdard Nagar besides the head office at Ansari road. Coupons for free consultation in Malviya Nagar Centre were also distributed. Impressed and encouraged with the response and success of the Camp, Mr. Faizaan Siddiqui also offered to provide free of cost consultation services by their doctor in Dwarka at regular intervals as mutually fixed.

Free check-up of blood pressure and blood sugar was also conducted by LaL Chandani Labs at the same place. Tea and snakes were served to all by Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha. More than hundred people were benefited with this Health Camp. The camp started at 10:00 a.m. and ended at about 3:00 p.m. with closing address of Shashi Kant Kapoor, President of the Sanstha, thanking the distinguished guests from Hamdard Wellness, audience and Sanstha members for their cooperation which made the programme a great success.

Surgical Strike First Look dedicated to Indian Army


Bollywood much awaited Patriotic movie Surgical Strike first look hit the internet. The official poster of the movie Surgical Strike is out on production house social media account. The film, Co-produced by Vijay Valbhani and Sonu Jain, directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan Under the banner of Crystal Movies. The film feature's Deepraj Rana, Mir Sarvar, Lakha Lakhwinder Singh, Jimmy Sharma, Sanjay Singh, Amit Pathak and Vedita Pratap Singh as army officers the movie dedicated to the India Soldiers and to their family. The poster captioned as: "Our Country, Our Nation, Our People".

The poster depicted the hardships faced by soldiers at the time of the Surgical Strike. The movies show what price our freedom fighters paid for the safety of our country.

From the poster, it is clear that actors are playing a true patriotic and Patriotism doesn’t always mean fighting for your country against others. There are so many social evils within our society which we need to get rid of but we don’t. These include issues like Corruption and Crime which are like termites, ruining the country from Inside. Surgical Strike will highlight all the small issues related to the mission.

The movie is all set to hit the theatrical release in 2018. It’s indeed a smart move from the makers to reveal the poster with a patriotic theme. "Surgical Strike", which is film based on 2016 Uri terror attack, Last year, a terror attack at an army base in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri killed 17 soldiers. The Indian Army retaliated with surgical strikes 11 days later.

Asset Summer Program - Orientation Workshop


Sri Venkateshwar International School was felicitated for its exceptional result in ASSET Talent Search 2017 -18. Out of 2,50,000 students from different schools of India, 12 gifted minds from Sri Venkateshwar International School were selected for their exemplary performance in ASSET Talent Search 2017. Parents of these students were called for Asset Summer Programme Orientation Workship on February 07, 2018 at school premises, which was conducted by the experts of Asset Talent Search 2017. School was also awarded for an outstanding result in this national benchmarking exam.

ASSET Summer Programme is a tailored - designed platform, offered to the gifted minds of the country. The lecture enlightened the parents and students about a 3-week residential programme which will be held at Manipal University in Karnataka from May 13, 2018 to June 02, 2018. The highlights of the lecture included discussion of all the 11 courses being offered to the students to enhance their thinking and cognitive skills. The experts also mentioned that the objective of this programme is to engage and stimulate the Gifted Child's mind as well as to build core skills and competencies required to succeed in the 21st century. The courses offered covers a diverse range of advanced topics that will allow students to accelerate their growth and build a network of like-minded peers.

ATS scholars were also felicitated with a book and a badge for their commendable performance. The school principal, Ms Nita Arora, congratulated the parents for their ward's brilliant achievement. She also shared her vision for the Summer Residential Programme as she believes that the content of this workshop will definitely help the students to gain hands on experience in domains of science, engineering, mathematics and technology. The eligibility of students in a particular course depends on their individual score in ATS, which was scientifically assessed and analysed. Parents also heartily participated by offering their valuable insights and posed their queries, which were addressed by the experts from the ASSET team.

उम्मीद का दामन या कला की उत्कृष्टता


एक कलाकार के लिए सबसे ज़रूरी है उसके भावों का उर्वर होना। रंगों और तूलिका के सहारे कैनवास पर उकेरे गए भाव बार बार कुछ कहना चाहते हैं, एक आस की डोर और उससे बंधे अनगिनत सपने, निरंतर ऊर्जा देते हैं जीवन जीने की उद्दाम इच्छा को।

कलाकार अंजली की इस कलाकृति में अनंत, गहन अँधेरों से झाँकती किरणें और विस्तार में फैलती आभा नरम सूखी नरम हथेलियों को नए जीवन का संदेश देती जान पड़ती हैं। आसपास का अंधेरा लेकिन रंगों की दस्तक कई बार अंधेरे के के भ्रम की चरती हुई जान पड़ती है। कहने को यह मात्र एक कलाकृति हो सकती है लेकिन भावों के धरातल पर अपने आप में एक जीवन संगीत समेटे हुये है।

कलाकार अंजली के कलात्मक सफर की बात की जाए तो अंजली ने दिल्ली के त्रिवेणी कला संगम से कला की बारीकियाँ सीखी हैं। इसके अलावा राजधानी दिल्ली की प्रतिष्ठित कला दीर्घाओं में अब तक अपनी तमाम कलाकृतियों का प्रदर्शन कर चुकी हैं जिनमें से आइफैक्स, प्यारेलाल भवन और गांधी आर्ट गैलरी प्रमुख हैं। अभी हाल ही में उनकी कलाकृतियाँ इन्दिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र में आयोजित कला मेले में भी दर्शायी गई जिन्हें कलाप्रेमियों के द्वारा भरपूर सराहा गया।
