1st Samvatsara Celebration in Sri Ram Mandir


The Delhi Bhajana Samaj Sri Ram Mandir Trust will be organizing the 1st Samvatsara Celebrations (Anniversary) of the temple after the Kumbhabhishekam on 4th June 2012. The celebration has started from 25th May 2013 as per the Star and culminates on 4th June 2013 the English day on which the Kumbhabhishekam was held.

Pt. Swarnayan-the main priest of the temple informed Dwarka Parichay that apart from religious programmes (Homams / Parayanams etc), a variety of cultural programmes are also being arranged at the temple complex in the morning and evening respectively from 25th May 2013 to 4th June 2013.

Sh M. Viswanathan & Sh S. Ganesan jointly informed Dwarka Parichay that Pattabhisheka Homam will be held on 2nd June, 2013 at 7 a.m. onwards. This is happening for the first time in South West District. Under this celebration Kalasa Sthapanam, Sankalpam, Ganapathy Homam, Navagraha Homam, Vishnu Gayathri Homan, Rama Taraka Homam, Samkshepa Ramayana Homam, Pattabhisheka Homam, Sri Sukta Homam, Purnahuti, Maha Abhishekam to Lord Sri Ram Parivar, Sahasranama Archanai, Shodashopacharangal, Deeparadhanai. Further in the evening from 5 p.m. onwards Gaja Pujai, Ashva Purai, Procession of Sri Ram Parivar Utasavargal with Veda Gosham, Nadaswaram, etc. Hanumath Jayanthi, Anjaneya Utsavam, Veda Parayanam, Deeparadhanai, & in the Prasada Viniyogam would be arranged.
